Hyderabad: US-headquartered technology company Unravel Data plans to triple its employee headcount by next year. Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, it currently employs more than 100 people, including 55 engineers, in four offices across the US, India, and Europe. The company will be looking at candidates proficient in Big Data, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Unravel Data is the first DataOps observability platform built to meet the needs of modern data teams. It has opened new office at Hitech City, Hyderabad on Wednesday. It has started with a team of more than 15 people. This is the company's second office in India after Bengaluru. It is planning to hire 60 employees over the next year across its Hyderabad and Bengaluru offices to strengthen its India team.

The Hyderabad office was inaugurated by Unravel Data's Co-founder and CTO Dr Shivnath Babu, and VP of Engineering Operations, Giriraj Bagdi. It will house teams across functions like data science, site reliability engineering, and customer success. Unravel Data said it aims to attract the rich technology talent in Hyderabad and nearby cities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to support its growth plans.

"Hyderabad not only houses data teams for many of our customers and partners around the world, but also has an abundance of technology talent, making it the natural choice for our second office location in India. Our clients have been able to double productivity of data teams, ensure data applications run on time, while being able to scale cost efficiently on the cloud," Dr Shivnath Babu said.
